ModCAP is a system, not a single product. You upgrade the parts as your trips change, instead of selling the whole setup and starting again.
1 Choose Your Base
An all-aluminium canopy for your load bin, with a full rear door or your factory tailgate kept in place.
2 Add the Roof You Need
Keep the flat roof, or add the Compact, Camper or Family tent. You can make that call now or a year from now.
3 Fit It Out
Kitchen, water tank, tables, storage and a drive-off base all bolt onto the same system.

REAR DOOR OR TAILGATE
The same camper comes on two bases. Pick the one that suits how you load the bakkie during the week.
ModCAP Canopy
A large swing-out vertical door replaces the tailgate, so you walk straight in. Best if the camper is the main job.

Light, strong and it will not rust. Built for corrugations as much as for the school run.
Internal Tent Access
Lift the bed for full standing height, and get into the tent from inside. No ladder in the rain.
Double-Layer Canvas
280gsm UV-resistant ripstop on the camper tents, with foam insulation top and bottom.
Integrated Roof Rails
Rails are built into every roof, so load bars, awnings and solar panels have somewhere to go.
Solar Ready
Wiring for a solar panel is already in place. The panel itself is sold separately.
Side Access Doors
Reach your gear from either side without unpacking the back, with LED lighting inside.
TAKE IT OFF WHEN YOU NEED THE BAKKIE
The Drive-Off Base turns any ModCAP into a slide-on, slide-off unit. Leave the camper at home during the week and put it back for the weekend.
It has a vinyl floor, storage pockets on all four sides and T-slot mounting rails. The legs are sold separately.

Yes. That is what the system is designed for. Start with the flat roof and add the camper tent when you are ready.
Alu-Cab lists double cab and extra cab bakkies including the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max, VW Amarok and Nissan Navara, plus the Land Cruiser 79. Ask us to confirm yours.
Two in the Compact and the Camper. The Family Camper sleeps up to four on a 2400 x 2000mm bed.
No. It can be removed. If you plan to take it off often, the Drive-Off Base makes that far quicker.
Only if you choose the rear door base. The tailgate version keeps your factory tailgate fully working.
